Prestige Group is one of the leading real estate companies in India that forayed into the malls space with Forum Koramangala in 2004. In the last 15 years, Forum has established itself as a successful mall brand in the South of India with 8 malls spanning across 6 cities. Forum, as the name suggests, is a one-stop destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Forum invited ScaleFactor to design and conduct an immersive capability development programme aimed at building design and systems thinking capabilities in their team. We designed a unique format for this engagement that kicked off with an interactional workshop followed by 8 weeks of continuous engagement with their leadership and middle management teams. The engagement helped them identify problems and opportunities in their business and prepared them to design human-centered solutions.

In the process, the group was divided into three teams to focus on different focus areas- customer service quality, brand recall, and tenant relationship and on-boarding. The teams conducted on-ground exploratory research with relevant stakeholders to unearth insights into their behaviours and expectations to design solutions aimed at delivering maximum value to each of them. This engagement helped Forum internalise lateral thinking and the design process in the organisation by working on actual business problems and opportunities, and delivering business impact across the value chain.
